A long metal spring was glued onto a cardboard tube, and when whirled, it makes a very strange but interesting sound. A zoom h6 recorder was used with the shotgun/pistol mic.

The sound of a teabag squeezer hitting the lid of an ornamental brass pot. It creates a generic "ding" sound. There is a small amount of static noise in the background. Sounds slightly like a triangle i guess. Recorded with a cheap pc microphone.

For a sound design project. I got the clock tower bell and bird field recordings from freesound and combined a sound of a metallic object and stick breaking to create the ticking.

A wooden plate on which people write his/her wish is called 'ema' in japanese. I hope the spelling won't be funny in your languages, though. Those emas are hung on the metal shelf in a temple in kyoto city, and the wind blows strongly on them. Wooden plates and metal bars rattle. Low rumble cut by eq. Edirol r-44 and audio-technica bp4025.

Recorded using a pair of rode lavalier microphones from a loft window. The hail stones were hitting the metal flashing (i think that it what it is called) around the window. Loved the rhythm and hypnotic nature of this. If you use this recording, please let me know as i'd love to hear how it is used.

X-act heavy metal drum kit==========================drum kit: tama rockstarsnare: mapex maplecymbals: zildjianall were recorded in studio with a sennheiser e835 microphone plugged into a roland juno-g synthesizer. Cymbals need some 15khz eq increase because of the dynamic microphone's treble roll-off. No copyrights, free for all uses. I recommend using native instruments battery to launch the samples. Each of the battery's cells can accept stacked multi-samples, and the kit can be played through an electronic drum kit through midi. Excellent results. Any comments, contact matias: matias. Needed the exceptionally specific sound of putting an old book into an old hiking backpack. This is that sound. The recording starts with me the backpack off, before placing the book into the backpack and throwing the backpack back over my shoulder. Backpack description:an old-ish (likely 60's) hikers backpack with a metal "seat" that folds out. Made out of wool, leather, metal and the inside is plastic (a thick plastic bag that keeps everything dry). All straps are made of leather and metal that makes a very distinct jangly sound. Book description:this is an 1841 (handled with great care) edition of "hegel's logik" hardcover with a leather spine. *no credit needed, but would love it if you shared your creation, if you use this sound!.

Ascending to the second floor in my grandmother's barn. Assortment of thumps and squeaks, including a horribly loud, squeaky pulley and a pedal-operated flywheel thing, and some good footsteps going up and down a wooden staircase. Recorded on a sony pcm-d50.
